The participants were the Missionaries of Africa, the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa, the Lavigerie Lay Missionaries of Tanzania, the Undugu-Kenya, the LLAK, and the Ugandan FROMA.
It was the first meeting of its kind uniting the Eastern African families.
